Animal Communication
Have you ever wondered what your pet thinks or if he thinks?
They seem so human, a part of the family with a personality of their own.
In January of 1992 I took an Animal Communication course with Carol Gurney in Malibu, CA. This course was very enlightening and very similar to what I have already been studying in my Metaphysical Ph.D..
In July of 1992 I got a new kitten. He was a beautiful long hair white ball of fluff. A couple days after I got home with him I was still trying to decide what to name him. I started thinking - Merlin, Cosmo, Wizard - then all of a sudden Winston pops into my head. I said out loud Winston, I don't want to name you Winston. I looked at my kitten and said "You want to be named Winston?" He said "Meow", so he was named Winston.
Here
is a picture of me. Good looking, right! He's not so little anymore, would you believe it, he weighs 18lbs. and such a Luv.
That was the one and only word that Winston ever said to me, but he tells me things all the time. Animals are telepathic. If you take the time to relax and listen to them, they will tell you what is going on with them. But you must be receptive because they have personalities too and they do not like to waste their time.
An animals health has a lot to do with their owners health. Many a time I have seen an animal give up their life to help heal their owners physical or emotional problem. Give up their life out of love.
I am sad to say but on March 7, 04 – Winston passed away at home, he was 11 years old – the vet seemed to think that he had cancer of the kidneys and pnemonia. 12 days later my mother passed away in her sleep – she and Winston were very close when she lived with me in the 90's – I believe
that he went ahead of her to make her passing easier. They are both in God's hands now. Mariah, Merlin (both below) Mark and I will miss them very much.

As time marchs on the pets get older - Zeus,
our canine dog that came to me when he was just 2 years old - a stray, has passed on, over the rainbow bridge on February 10, 06. He had been a wonderful companion and guard dog for me, my horses and my husband Mark. We will miss him terribly - but he sent us a replacement to keep us company - Athena. She is a Great Pyrenees - 4 1/2 years old, also a rescue dog.
In greek mythology Athena is Zeus's daughter and protector of horses.
Our Athena is very loving and very obediant, but is an escape artist - Thank you Kim Lasley with the Great Pyrenees rescue for getting her to us.

Some more of my friends - Winston on the left, Merlin in the back middle and Mariah on the right front. I had Mariah for 13 years ( I got her at the same store I got Winston) and Merlin is a rescue cat - I got him when he was 6 months old and had him for 9 years.
We lost both Mariah and Merlin in the Wildfire of 2007 - We lost everything in the Wildfire - but they were the only pets that we lost and really all that mattered - everything else was just material things and can be replaced.
A week after the fire I went to visit one of my friends that live in the same town as I do. Her cat - that I really did not know came walking upon my chest and started talking and talking to me "meow, meow, meow" My friend said she did not know what to think of it - her cat had never done that before - but I knew, it was Mariah - talking through her cat - telling me she and Merlin were ok and not to worry.
I missed them very much and it took me 5 months before I considered taking in another cat to replace them. My son brought me Tara - she was a young cat - about 6 - 8 months old. A girl was taking her to the pound because her mother told her she could not keep her. My son asked if he could have her. That is how we aquired Tara. She is a beautful calico - like a kitten I had when I was a child.
To our surprise - a couple months later - Tara had 6 kittens. We gave 4 away (2 of which went to my granddaughters) and kept 2 of the boys (Max and Zac) and Tara. Here is their picture - Tara on the left - then Max in the middle and Zac on the right.

I knew I was to keep Zac - he reminded me of Winston because he told me what his name was to be - Zackary. There are actions and parts of Zac that remind me of Winston and Merlin. I feel I have them back now.
